Bottomless Lakes State Park was New Mexico's first State Park.   It is located in southeastern New Mexico on NM Hwy 409, mile marker 3, 3 miles south of US Hwy 380, mile marker 165, which is 10 miles east of Roswell.  At mile marker 3, the road splits off, where they meet 6 miles south, at which it continues south to Greenfield on NM Hwy 256.
