Roswell Pioneer Plaza: The Chaves County Courthouse, built in 1911, located east of the 1920's Conoco service station (now a visitor's center, as seen in Photograph #8).  It is one of the best surviving examples of courthouses built in the Beaux Arts Revival "monumental civic style" architecture.
