The Shakespeare Ghost Town is the remains of a pioneer, southwestern town, and is open for 1 1/2 hour tours on regularly scheduled tour days (2 or 4 days a month) or by appointment. From Interstate 10, exit 22, travel south on Main Street (also known as NM Hwy 494) approximately 1.3 miles to a sign (see below) pointing to Shakespeare.
